Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions Unveils Cyberhomes
November 14, 2007
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions (FNRES), a division of Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF - News), has launched of Cyberhomes (www.cyberhomes.com) – a complete online destination for home evaluation and neighborhood information. The launch marks the unveiling of the Cyberhomes modular homepage – an animated and configurable dashboard based on the goals and interests of the user.
We know that most people look online for real estate information, whether they are buying, selling or simply feeding their curiosity,” said Marty Frame, Cyberhomes General Manager. “Cyberhomes features an enormous amount of home ownership information for consumers, whatever their goals. While there are many sites that provide some home value estimates and listings information, where do you go if you want not only that information, but also much more about the actual community? Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions has long been known among professionals as the premier providers of real estate data and tools, but now consumers can also find the facts that carry personal significance for them on Cyberhomes – providing important data like detailed school, economy, quality of life and population information.”
The new Cyberhomes brings a radically different user experience with the introduction of a modular homepage, which is dynamic and fully configurable by the user - bringing key pieces of Cyberhomes’ functionality to the forefront of the site. Cyberhomes can customize the homepage for each user based on their interests – literally presenting a different home page every time a user returns to the site – or users can choose to customize the homepage themselves. Personalization allows users to select and drop certain modules into their homepage, including Property Highlights, Neighborhood Charts, Maps and Photos for as many different properties and communities as they like.
Cyberhomes is most known for the breadth and depth of its property database, which includes more than 100 million property, ownership, sales and mortgage records, covering more than 85 percent of the United States population. More than 575,000 new ownership records are added every month, verified from the original source, and the data is enhanced with more than ten years of proprietary property information. Cyberhomes valuations give users access to most of the same information that real estate professionals use to evaluate homes from the databases of Fidelity National Information Services - the leader in property information, services and technology for agents, brokers, MLSs, appraisers and lenders.
In addition to its vast collection of property data, Cyberhomes offers comprehensive community information. The site provides a place for people to find the information that matters most to them – listings, property records, community factors - including school statistics (average test scores, student to teacher ratio), quality of life indicators (average commute times, air/water quality), weather, local economy (sales tax, recent job growth) and population facts (households with children, registered voters). Users can find this information simply by typing in an address when they enter the site.
Cyberhomes has several other new functionalities with its official launch out of beta, including a new Moving Center, Home Improvement Center and original editorial content provided by a seasoned writing staff. For more information, please visit Cyberhomes online at www.cyberhomes.com.
