Missouri Court Ruling Threatens Title Plants, Industry

November 10, 2009

The Missouri Land Title Association plans to appeal a county ruling that said county recorders were not limited by the state’s Sunshine Law and could charge up to their statutory fee for bulk sales of documents, which would significantly increase the cost of plant ownership and plant use.
