Deadline - Dec. 18 Call For Presentations 2010 Business Strategies Conference
December 15, 2009
The American Land Title Association has opened its Call for Presentations for the 2010 Business Strategies Conference, which will be held May 2-4 at the Hyatt Regency in St. Louis, Mo.
Educational content is developed using the proposals in combination with guidance from leadership and volunteers. There are four Professional Development Tracks tentatively planned for the 2010 Business Strategies Conference:
- Compliance & Legal: So much of your business is about compliance these days, especially with a new RESPA Rule to implement, along with new HUD-1 and GFE forms. With increased regulatory scrutiny, you've really got to know how to do business on the right side of the law. Our legal and regulatory experts will make the rules clear and understandable and you'll get information that you can share with your staff and apply immediately to help keep your company in compliance.
- Sales & Marketing: If you're not selling, you're not doing business! Your company provides excellent products and services, but they don't always sell themselves. Our sales and marketing experts are really your coaches, helping you grow the right mindset so that you and your staff are always on alert for opportunities to close the deal, keep those customers happy, and maintain good business relationships.
- Small Business: If you're the jack-of-all trades in your company, handling everything from human resources and finances to strategic planning, this is the track for you. Our faculty will teach the strategies you need to prioritize and succeed. If you employ experts to assist you, it's also a great opportunity to confirm that you've got the best of the best working for you.
- Technology Trends: Technology is the key to enhancing productivity, efficiency, and customer service. Whether your next decision is a new production software system, an upgraded web site, or a move to electronic closings, you'll learn how to get it done. Join us and develop a technology strategy that will put you on the path to a paperless operation and position you to offer your customers the latest in electronic access to information.
The deadline for submissions is Dec. 18, and you will receive an automatic confirmation that your proposal has been received upon submission. ALTA leadership, volunteers, and staff will review proposals during December/January and you should learn the final status of your proposal by early February.
