Fees in Illinois for ‘Non-Certified’ Copies Could Increase Dramatically

An amendment to Senate Bill 82 in the House of Representatives added at the 11th hour, without a committee hearing or prior notification of the action, allows recorders to charge up to half the fee of certified copies for "non-certified" copies.
