ALTA Applauds FHFA for Proposal to Protect Consumers from Dangerous Financial Scheme

The American Land Title Association earned a significant victory as the Federal Housing Finance Board proposed to ban loans by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Home Loan Banks on property encumbered by private transfer fee covenants.
