ALTA Comments on FHFA's Private Transfer Fees Proposed Guidance

October 15, 2010

ALTA submitted a comment letter Oct. 15 applauding the Federal Housing Finance Agency for its guidance to the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on the growing use of private transfer fee covenants and their negative effect on consumers, the enterprises and Federal Home Loan Bank.
