Licenses Suspended for 12 Maryland Title Agencies after Underwriter Finds $1M Shortage

The Maryland Insurance Administration suspended the licenses of 12 title agencies less than two months after an underwriter audit discovered a title agency diverted more than $1 million from an escrow account to pay operating expenses.
