HUD Issues Safe Act Final Rule

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has published a final rule setting the minimum standards that states must meet to comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) in licensing mortgage loan originators (Final Rule).
