FDIC Files Complaint Against Title Companies for Role in Alleged Fraud

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has filed a complaint in New York seeking to recover $1.2 million from participants that resulted in the $92 million mortgage fraud perpetrated against Washington Mutual Bank, according to a federal complaint.
