ALTA Encourages Improved Market Conduct Exam Process

March 6, 2012

In a presentation on market conduct exams for the NAIC’s Industry Liaison Committee, Justin Ailes, ALTA’s vice president of government and regulatory affairs, encouraged state insurance regulators to provide consistent standards, training and expense control policies for market conduct examinations in order to enhance accountability and ensure a credible process.
