North Carolina Governor Signs Legislation to Update Mechanics’ Lien Legislation

July 19, 2012

Effective April 1, 2013, North Carolina’s mechanics’ lien law will require potential lien claimants to provide written notice to a Lien Agent, which must be title insurance companies or agents, in order to preserve all the lien rights that they now possess. Read on for more details.
