Loans Could Cost More in Five States Beginning in 2013

In a notice filed in the Federal Registry, the FHFA said that GSE-backed residential mortgages in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey and New York will likely require a new upfront guarantee fee of between 15 and 30 basis points beginning next year.
