Title Company’s Staff to Donate Day to Habitat Project

September 10, 2013

Coast Title Insurance Agency will close its office on Sept. 11 to commemorate the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks through volunteer service.

Sandra McDermott, owner of the Palm Coast, Fla.-based company, is also board president for the Flagler County chapter of the nonprofit Habitat for Humanity. She said her six employees all agreed to donate their time to help build a Habitat house that will become the new home of a single parent who works as a security guard.

Palm Coast Mayor Jon Netts will read a proclamation as part of the event. The Habitat project is sponsored by the Hammock Dunes Community.
