Windward, ALTA to Co-Sponsor Charity Build-A-Bike Event at Annual Convention

October 8, 2013

Windward Consulting | SOFTWARE announced that it will be the co-sponsor in conjunction with the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and The Breakers hotel, of the charity event Build-A-Bike to be held annually at ALTA’s Annual Convention.

The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 9-11 a.m. All attendees of the ALTA Conference are invited to participate in this worthy cause, by donating their time to help assemble a variety of children’s bikes.

“The Build-A-Bike program is a terrific opportunity to participate in a team-building experience, but more importantly this is a fantastic way to do something nice for others,” said Michelle Korsmo, ALTA’s chief executive officer. “We are delighted to have Windward sponsoring the bikes for the program and being a true partner in this activity. Bicycles help children build coordination and provide a wonderful source of exercise, not to mention just being a great part of childhood.”

Having achieved much success with other interactive charity events, including Make a Child Smile and Food for Kidz, Windward is proud to help sponsor this event to benefit the children of the Place of Hope.

Place of Hope is a unique faith-based child welfare organization providing family-style foster care to those who need it most. Through faith, their family model approach and committed services, the organization is dedicated to providing stable, loving and nurturing support for foster children. “Place of Hope is an amazing organization with a passionate vision to make a difference in children’s lives and we are honored to be a part of that. Furthermore, we are elated that ALTA is partnering with us to hold this event at their conference, so the attendees can share together in this worthwhile event for a great cause,” said Curt Szymanski, president of Windward.
