September 9, 2014
Richard (Rick) Miller has been elected as trustee for the 10th Circuit on the board of Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund. He has also been appointed as a member of the Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund Inc. Board of Directors.
“I am extremely pleased to have Rick Miller join us as a trustee and director,” said John Simmons, president and CEO of Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund. “His rich background in Florida real estate and title insurance practice will be extremely beneficial to The Fund as the industry continues to undergo rapid changes in the protection of the public. Rick’s depth of experience coupled with his fresh perspective will be invaluable to us.”
Miller joins 19 other leading real estate attorneys who collectively represent the interests of Fund members across the state. The constituents of each of the 20 circuits in Florida elect a representative to serve as trustee based on their commitment to the Fund mission to preserve and facilitate the real estate practices of its members in their protection of the public.
Miller has been a Fund member since 1982, only a year after being admitted to the Florida Bar. He is a partner of the law firm Miller, Crosby & Miller P.A. and is board certified in real estate law. Miller has served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee and Real Property Certification Committees and served as chairman on both committees during his tenure.
