CFPB to Host FAQ Webinar on RESPA-TILA Integrated Disclosures

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will continue its webinar series to answer frequently asked questions regarding the RESPA-TILA Integrated Disclosures rule.
The next webinar will be held from 2-3 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, Oct. 1. Click here to register.
The webinar will focus on issues related to completing the Loan Estimate. Some questions will also apply to portions of the Closing Disclosure. You can view past webinars or you can read reports about these webinars on ALTA’s Blog.
The new rule consolidates existing mortgage disclosures required under TILA and RESPA into two integrated forms. A three-page Loan Estimate will replace the current GFE and early TIL disclosure, while a five-page Closing Disclosure will replace the HUD-1 and final TIL.
