DeKalb County, Ga., Implements New Case Management System

February 3, 2015

Courts across the country are challenged to find new and better ways to serve the public while at the same time reducing expenses. In an effort to simplify court processing and improve public service for resident, the DeKalb County, Ga., recorder’s office has installed the case management system Benchmark.

According to Pioneer Technology Group, the DeKalb County Recorder’s court processes were disjointed and broken previously, with disparate systems that didn’t talk to each other. With the installation of the Benchmark case management system, the court now has a seamless process that manages communication from the initial life cycle of a citation all the way through adjudication, Pioneer Technology Group said a release. The system has also resulted in improved communications, more effective management of court processes, and improved efficiencies and financial procedures and controls.

“We’re extremely excited to launch Benchmark in DeKalb County,” said Steve Rumsey, president of Pioneer Technology Group. “DeKalb County is a significant step for Pioneer as we continue to quickly expand in Georgia. Judge Withers and her team have taken a visionary approach to improving court processing, and have taken full advantage of the efficiencies of the Benchmark system.”
