Attorneys Prepare for Big Changes in Real Estate Transactions
June 18, 2015
More than 1,300 attorneys attended Attorneys’ Title Fund Services LLC annual Fund Assembly, which was held recently in Orlando, Fla.
The first sold-out Fund Assembly in 51 years opened with a special pre-assembly intensive Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Closing Disclosure Seminar, where the attendees were given practical advice on how to prepare for the changes that will affect their practice.
Fund Assembly continued with training sessions, seminars, panel discussions, high-quality education and networking opportunities that were designed to provide members with the most up-to-date information in Florida real estate.
“We have to remember the law is never stagnant, it’s always changing and this gives an opportunity for people who are in this field to stay abreast of all the current laws,” said Abraham Galbut, an attorney with the law firm Galbut Walters & Associates LLP.
The Fund Assembly is the largest gathering of its kind in Florida. The Fund continues to prepare its members for the Aug. 1 implementation of TRID. Members are encouraged to use all of the CFPB resources available to them at www.thefund.com/readiness.
