Title Company Responds to CFPB Settlement for Failing to Disclose Underwriter Affiliation

An Indiana-based title company responded today to a $1.25 million settlement from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for steering borrowers to an affiliated title insurer without disclosing that three executives are owners of the insurer.
