Marshall County Probate Office in Alabama Partners with ePN for E-recording
June 14, 2018
The Marshall County Probate Office in Alabama has partnered with eRecording Partners Network (ePN) to accept electronically submitted documents in their office for recording.
“We are so excited to offer this service to the citizens of Marshall County. We are always looking for new technology to improve our office workflow,” said Andrea LeCroy, chief clerk for Marshall County Probate Office. “E-recording will decrease the turnaround time on documents filed electronically and decrease labor costs at the same time. The best part is that there was no cost to the county. Rest assured, that we will still offer standard paper recording services, as well.”
Marshall County installed ePN’s DocRouter Solution, which allows closing agents to submit documents electronically for recording. Once approved by the clerk, the documents are electronically imported into the probate office’s official records.
Common Bond Title was the first to submit documents for e-recording to Marshall County.
