CFPB Seeks Applicants for Taskforce to Help Improve Financial Laws and Regulations

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) hopes to bring together external experts to examine ways to harmonize and modernize federal consumer financial laws.

To do this, the CFPB is accepting applications for its Taskforce on Federal Consumer Financial Law.

The bureau said the taskforce will study the current legal and regulatory environment facing consumers and financial services providers and report its recommendations on ways to improve consumer financial laws and regulations to CFPB Director Kathy Kraninger.
