ALTA Asks Treasury to Delay Deadlines for 1031 Exchanges

March 23, 2020

In a letter to Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, ALTA and 19 other groups requested that deadlines to identify replacement property and/or complete 1031 exchanges be extended for 120 days or to the last day of the general disaster extension period authorized by the IRS.
