ALTA Honors Texas Member with National Title Professional Recognition
October 22, 2020
ALTA announced that Randy Pearson CTIP, NTP has earned the National Title Professional (NTP) designation.
Formally acknowledged with his NTP designation on July 1, 2020, Pearson is one of 94 leaders across the United States who have devoted their careers and themselves to the land title industry.
“The NTP designation is a recognition that only the most knowledgeable and committed land title insurance industry professionals are entitled to,” said ALTA President Bill Burding NTP. “I have gone through the process, and it is not easy. ALTA members trying to earn their designation must undergo a vigorous audit and demonstrate extensive experience in and dedication to the title insurance industry. Although Randy refers to himself as an ‘amateur,’ his four decades of experience tell another story. His wealth of knowledge, generosity and ability to lift others make him an ideal candidate for the NTP designation. I hope other title insurance experts follow his lead and aim for this achievement.”
After 40 years in the land title insurance industry, Pearson is a well-known figure in the Texas Land Title Association (TLTA). He has been involved with the TLTA’s professional certification program since its inception, coaching 28 people through the state designation process. Senior vice president of Town Square Title Co. in Waxahachie, Texas, Pearson is on the Board of Trustees for the TLTA Political Action Committee, a member of the Granbury Association of Realtors and a commissioner of the Granbury Housing Authority. Pearson also volunteers on other boards and charitable organizations, living by the axiom, “the more you give, the more you get back.”
“Town Square Title is privileged to have Randy on our team,” said Vicki Cearnal, executive vice president of Town Square Title. “He not only knows this business, but is a man of integrity with a gift of passing along his knowledge to those around him, which benefit both our customers and our associates. The NTP designation is well deserved.”
