ALTA VP of Government Affairs Elected to PRIA Board

Elizabeth Blosser, ALTA’s vice president of government affairs, was among six directors elected to serve two-year terms on the Property Records Industry Association’s (PRIA) Board of Directors.

Blosser and Jana Miyasaki, senior project manager for CSC were elected to their second term in the business category.

Annette Hill, associate commissioner/city register for the New York City Department of Finance was elected to her fourth term and Brandon Krause, register of deeds, Bay Co., MI, was elected to his second term. Both represent the government category.

Kyle Quackenbush, manager of official records for Orange County, Fla., was elected to his second term in the at-large category, along with Nakia McFarland, account executive of Georgia and South Carolina for Kofile Technologies, who is in her first term.

Continuing on the 2022-2023 Board in their second term in the government category are: Teresa Kiel, clerk, Guadalupe Co., Texas; Sharon Blount-Baker, circuit clerk & ex-officio recorder, Crawford County, Ark., and Sharon Martin, register of deeds, Washington County, Wis.

Brian Ernissee, vice president of document production for NTC, a Covius Solution; Dan Shmukler, regional account manager for Harris Recording Solutions; and Penny Reed, senior vice president for Wells Fargo Home Lending Division, all continue on the board serving in the business category. Gerald Smith, recorder for St. Louis County, Mo., continues in the at-large category.

The new board convened Aug 31, to elect officers for one-year terms. Hill was elected president, Shmukler will serve as vice president, Ernissee and Smith will continue in the role of treasurer and secretary, respectively.

Jerry Lewallen, chief strategy officer for eRecording Partners Network, will serve as ex-officio immediate past president.
