SoftPro Enhances AgentTrax Integration With ionFraud

May 16, 2024

SoftPro released a new ionFraud enhancement to Fidelity National Financial’s agentTRAX integration in the free SoftPro 360 vendor portal, which links SoftPro users to a nationwide network of third-party service providers. The ionFraud tool is designed to assist agents of FNF Family of Companies’ underwriting brands combat seller impersonation fraud.

“As fraudsters continue to focus their sights on the real estate industry, SoftPro is pleased to partner with agentTRAX to provide our mutual customers with the ionFraud tool to help identify and prevent fraud and ensure the legitimacy of their transactions,” said Patrick Hempen, SoftPro’s chief customer officer.

Through the ionFraud functionality in the agentTRAX integration, title agents can generate a property report that provides key information for identifying possible seller fraud as well as a letter to the property owner(s) verifying their knowledge of the real estate transaction. The ionFraud integration supports automation functionality in SoftPro’s Select edition for submitting a request based on specific actions within the order and accepting data and documents into the order without having to manually review the data and documents. ionFraud also includes tips from the Secret Service to further help title agents identify potentially fraudulent transactions. Identifying fraud early in the transaction will save agencies valuable time, resources, and expense that would be incurred if a fraudulent transaction moved forward.

“The FNF Family of Companies, as the nation's largest title insurance provider through its title insurance underwriters, also has access to the largest network of real estate data,” said Joe Grealish, president of National Agency Operations for the FNF Family of Companies. “Being able to pull relevant data together from several different sources, and the ability to deliver that data in an easy to interpret manner, is critical for title agents. That is what ionFraud will do for our title agents, and having this information readily available will assist both FNF and our agents in combating seller impersonation fraud.”
