Doma Names Agency Manager for Texas
September 5, 2024
Doma Title Insurance Inc. has appointed Dan Hamilton as agency manager for its Texas region. In this position, he will work with independent title agents to maximize their use of Doma’s technology offerings, improve production times and increase outreach to new clients through educational offerings.
A real estate author and teacher, Hamilton brings more than three decades of experience in real estate and title insurance. After launching his career in real estate as a broker in 1989, he went on to build his own brokerage firm. He mined his years of experience to create the Hamilton Real Estate Education School, where he shares his knowledge with other professionals in the field. In 2013, Hamilton took a position as Texas agency director for a national title company and was later appointed as the company’s regional education director, where he managed the education division for the Southwest region.
“Dan will be a tremendous resource for our Texas agents, as he has written books on real estate agent education as well spent thousands of hours in the classroom with them,” said Rich Griffin, senior vice president of Agency for Doma. “His knowledge and expertise in working with real estate agents will provide our agents with a deeper insight into the needs of their clients, which will not only help strengthen their relationships with current clients, but also equip them to attract and retain new clients who will recognize the value of partnering with someone who understands their challenges.”
A Texas Real Estate Commission licensed real estate broker for the past 35 years, he has earned his Certified Real Estate Instructor (CREI) designation and is past president of the Texas Real Educators Teachers Association. Hamilton is a member of both the American Land Title Association and the Texas Land Title Association.
“Doma has the reputation for providing the latest technology to their agents, a distinct advantage for the agents as well as their real estate and lender clients,” said Hamilton. “The staff at Doma is remarkably dedicated, working together as a team for the benefit of their agents. This outward thinking will secure Doma’s position in the market long into the future.
“I have 10 years of experience on the title agency underwriting side,” he added. “With this experience, I can understand the pain points agents feel. My job is to offer them solutions to address those issues. In addition, as a high-level continuing education trainer, I can offer enhanced educational offerings to our agent’s real estate clients to further cement relationships with their base and build market share.”
