Westcor Names Underwriting Counsel

Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. has hired Matt Collins as underwriting counsel and will join the company’s Southwest regional team.

Collins’ career includes over 35 years practicing law with extensive experience in real estate transactions, title disputes, recoupment and creditor bankruptcy representation.

He has served as a legal professional in various roles, including underwriter/in-house counsel with a national title underwriter and associate attorney for several law offices in Phoenix, in addition to leading his own law practice as a sole practitioner.

“Our entire team is excited to have Matt join us,” says Roy Poll, vice president and Southwest region manager for Westcor. “His reputation and remarkable attitude will undoubtedly make a positive impact on our underwriting department.”
