RamQuest Renews SOC 2 Type 2 Certification

RamQuest has successfully renewed its SOC 2 Type 2 certification. This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to protecting real estate transactions and customer data.

As real estate transactions become increasingly digitized, title insurance companies and their customers face heightened risks of cyberattacks and data breaches. These threats can result in significant financial losses, reputational damage, and legal consequences.

SOC 2 Type 2 certification indicates that an organization’s cybersecurity and control measures meet all requirements set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as verified by a thorough assessment from external auditors. Organizations must demonstrate adherence to best practices as defined by the AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria.

“Our team has worked diligently to develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity infrastructure and protocols designed to protect customers,” said Paula Maurstad, president of RamQuest.
