Stewart Title Rebrands Specialized Energy Group

Stewart Title National Commercial Services rebranded its specialized Energy Services Group. This network of subject matter experts now operates nationally as Stewart Energy & Infrastructure Group.

“Stewart’s evolutionary DNA and general ability to continually adapt and change along with the fluctuations of national markets are what inform strategic decisions exactly like this rebrand,” said Erin Sheckler, head of National Commercial Services. “For us the primary goal isn’t necessarily to change or keep up with the times, but rather to constantly evolve predictively versus reflexively. With the growing prevalence of AI and other global innovations, this important rebrand is consistent with that philosophy of our always pivoting in a future forward manner.”

The Stewart Energy and Infrastructure Group will maintain its focus on providing professional, creative and flexible underwriting and closing services for energy and renewables projects while also focusing more extensively on infrastructure projects and transactions such as data centers. This unit has amassed a portfolio of energy transactions that exceeds $100 billion in the past 25 years.

“We took the growth pathways of the Energy Group into consideration in our effort to identify and appraise the opportunities that would allow us to make the most meaningful impact, both short and long-term,” said Matthew Skalka, vice president and manager of Stewart Energy & Infrastructure Group and Houston Commercial Services. “This rebranding is fundamentally both a diversification and a growth strategy alike. We want to represent ourselves more fully in terms of our scale as well as our ability to service commercial transactions, inclusive of data centers and other technologies, that aren’t purely energy or renewables based.”
