Arizona AG Sues Real Estate Operators, Title Companies for Alleged Equity-stripping Scheme

March 13, 2025

Arizona’s attorney general filed a lawsuit against multiple individuals and companies—including two title companies and two law firms—for allegedly orchestrating a widespread equity-stripping scheme that defrauded Arizona homeowners facing foreclosure.
