Fannie Mae Issues Guidance on Responsible Use of AI in Lending

In a lender letter, Fannie Mae outlined expectations for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), reinforcing that while these tools can improve efficiency and decision-making, they must be implemented within existing risk management, compliance and governance frameworks.
