AI Misses Key Title Matters in 40.8% of Files, DataTrace Study Finds

A new analysis from DataTrace raises questions about whether artificial intelligence operating solely on public records is ready to support insurable title decisions at scale. In a review of 200 residential title files, public-record-only AI search missed at least one meaningful title matter in 40.8% of searchable files.
