Fraudsters are moving faster, using smarter technology and coordinating attacks across borders. To protect consumers and real estate transactions, title professionals need to understand how these criminals operate —and what federal law enforcement is seeing now.

At the ALTA AI & Fraud Defense Bootcamp, sponsored by CertifID, Jonathan Lobus, Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge for Special Projects within the U.S. Secret Service Special Operations Division, will deliver the lunch keynote, Inside Today’s Real Estate Fraud Landscape.

Lobus brings more than two decades of leadership experience in national security, law enforcement, cyber strategy and emerging technology. In a previous role leading the Secret Service’s Global Investigative Operations Center, he directed efforts focused on complex domestic and international cyber-enabled financial crime.

Initiatives under his leadership contributed to the recovery of more than $200 million in fraud proceeds, supporting more than 3,000 cybercrime victims.
