ALTA Best Practices Resources Now Available to Non-Members
Washington, DC, July 14, 2015 — The American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance and real estate settlement services industries, announced that resources to aid implementation of ALTA’s Title Insurance and Settlement Company Best Practices resources are now available for non-members to purchase.
“As more lender companies begin to require the ALTA Best Practices, it’s important that the entire land title industry is equipped to meet these new demands,” said Michelle Korsmo, ALTA’s chief executive officer. “We are pleased to offer non-members and policy forms license holders one-year subscriptions to our ALTA Best Practice resources and documents, including the Assessment Readiness Guides and Compliance Management Report.”

“While these ALTA Best Practices tools are now available to non-members, I encourage all companies serving the land title insurance and real estate settlement services industries are encouraged to consider full ALTA membership,” Korsmo added. “As our industry continues to adapt to new regulatory pressures, ALTA is working to provide more resources to help for our members succeed.
