American Land Title Association Names Director of Public Affairs & Media Relations
Washington, D.C., March 2, 2026 — The American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry, announced that Alisa Mairone has joined the association as director of public affairs & media relations.
Mairone brings extensive experience in public affairs, media relations and strategic communications, having most recently served as director of public affairs at BAYADA Home Health Care, where she spent nearly a decade building and leading the organization’s public affairs program. In that role, she managed all external communications on behalf of BAYADA’s government affairs team, overseeing media relations, message development and executive visibility initiatives.
“Alisa’s background and experience make her a strong addition to the ALTA team,” said ALTA CEO Chris Morton. “She understands how to elevate an industry’s voice, build trust with policymakers and engage media in a thoughtful, strategic way. We are excited to welcome her as we continue advancing ALTA’s priorities on behalf of our industry.”
At BAYADA, Mairone worked not only on behalf of the organization, but also to elevate the broader home health care industry. She developed and trained advocacy and media spokespeople, strengthened relationships with national and regional media, and helped drive measurable increases in media visibility. Her work also contributed to expanding BAYADA’s influence with policymakers across the country.
Prior to her time at BAYADA, Mairone worked for the Pennsylvania Apartment Association, further grounding her expertise in association advocacy, coalition-building and policy communications.
In her new role at ALTA, Mairone will focus on crafting and executing proactive media strategies to support the association’s advocacy agenda. She will work closely with ALTA leadership and members to strengthen relationships with national, trade and policy media, as well as with state and federal associations and coalition partners.
“I’m thrilled to join ALTA and to work alongside an industry that plays such a vital role in protecting property rights, safeguarding homebuyers and homeowners, and promoting a strong real estate market,” Mairone said. “I look forward to helping tell the industry’s story and advancing ALTA’s policy priorities through thoughtful, effective public affairs and media engagement.”
