Shiloh, Ill., Resident Receives National Title Professional Designation
Washington, DC, March 9, 2015 — Michelle Null has been awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry. Null joins 39 other industry leaders from around the United States who have earned the professional designation.
The designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.*
“Michelle’s knowledge of the land title insurance industry is commendable,” said ALTA President Diane Evans NTP. ”Her professionalism, enthusiasm and industry devotion prove her to be a much-deserved recipient of a National Title Professional designation. I hope that other land title insurance professionals follow Michelle’s lead and apply for an NTP designation.”
Null is Senior Vice President at Benchmark Title Company, a Southern-Illinois based title agency, and has been involved in the land title industry for more than 30 years. In 2014, she was part of the inaugural class to receive the Illinois Land Title Association’s (ILTA) Illinois Escrow Professional designation. In addition to serving on the ILTA Board of Directors, Null is also an active board member for the Home Builders Association of Greater Southwest Illinois. She also volunteers on the board for the Professional Women in Building Council that helps with the advocacy, community involvement, education and increased recognition of professional women. She recently won the National Association of Home Builders Professional Women in Building Spike Rookie of the Year for new recruits to the council.
