FloodSource Corp. announced the acquisition of privately held LOMA/LOMR.com from Seattle-based Flood Hazard Determination, a regional provider of flood hazard research.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"The integration of LOMA/LOMR's data and business specialties with FloodSource's flood mapping technology will provide users with the most integrated and complete flood data and information service available," said FloodSource President John Howard. "Our number one priority continues to be a strong commitment to innovative solutions with exceptional customer service. We feel that this acquisitions moves us towards that goal."

FloodSource provides flood information to the mortgage lending industry with automated flood information capabilities in all 50 states.

Flood Hazard Determination specializes in flood hazard research for the mortgage industry in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
