Federal Title & Escrow Co. today announced the launch of an automated online quote generator, which provides customized closing costs to real estate agents, mortgage lenders/brokers, home buyers and refinancing homeowners.

The AQG aims to streamline and simply the settlement process in the Washington area. Last year, Federal Title launched its proprietary online settlement order and pre-closing document review service.

"The AQG is an extremely valuable tool for homebuyers, agents and lenders" said Todd Ewing, president of Federal Title & Escrow. "Because we take the guessing and estimating out of the closing costs. We deliver the exact figures prior to closing, which virtually eliminates last minute (financial) surprises."

Ann Herndon Eskew, formerly of RealEstate.com, helped design the interface and back-end technology of the AQG. "My goal is to enable first time home buyers to take control of a process that can be intimidating. At the same time, we want real estate professionals to use this service to make their job easier."

Federal Title & Escrow providesonline and offline closing solutions for the residential real estate industry. The fully licensed, full-service title and closing company serves Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
