Stewart Title Opens New Office in Spokane, Wash.

June 28, 2004

HOUSTON, /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stewart Title Co. has opened a new office, Stewart Title of Spokane, LLC.

"We are excited about the staff we have hired for this new office and our capability to service business in the Spokane area," said Bob Oakland, group president, Stewart Title Co. "And with the recent acquisition of Whitman County Title in nearby Pullman, Stewart Title now has excellent coverage in eastern Washington."

Longtime Spokane resident and title industry veteran Anthony Carollo has been chosen to lead the new office.

"We want to raise the standard of title and escrow service in Spokane County by offering our customers added value that they don't get at any other title company in town," said Carollo. "Our goal is to increase the level of communication between all the parties in the real estate transaction: sellers and buyers, real estate agents, commercial brokers, developers, builders, lenders, attorneys and other settlement service providers."
