Freddie Mac Industry Letter Revises Appraisal Report Forms

April 1, 2005

Freddie Mac has announced revised appraisal report forms (dated March 2005), which are mandatory for all Mortgages sold to Freddie Mac with appraisal reports that have effective dates on or after January 1, 2006. Until then, Sellers may use either the current appraisal report forms or the March 2005 forms in order to satisfy Freddie Mac's appraisal report requirements. The attachments, exhibits and addenda required to support an appraisal report continue to be required for the revised appraisal report forms.
