Stewart National Title Services Opens New Office in Michigan

HOUSTON, -- Stewart National Title Services has opened a new office in Southfield, Mich. National Title Services is a division of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE: STC).

David Martyn has joined Stewart to head the new office as national business development officer. He will be responsible for developing the national commercial market throughout Michigan, and also will facilitate the closing of local and national commercial real estate transactions for the state. Martyn is joined by Alison Streaty, a commercial escrow assistant.

Martyn's extensive background includes more than 12 years experience in the real estate industry, both in private law practice and in the title and escrow business in Michigan and Georgia. A member of the Michigan and Georgia Bar Associations, he earned his law degree at Emory University School of Law and his undergraduate degree at Cleveland State University.

Streaty most recently worked for Stewart Title of Detroit as an escrow processor and previously had worked for Title Resource in Novi, Mich.
