Stewart Title of Colorado Acquires Longmont Title Holdings

May 17, 2006

HOUSTON - Stewart Title of Colorado has acquired Longmont Title Holdings. President and co-owner Debbie Fitzgerald, will remain with the office, becoming president of the Longmont division of Stewart Title of Colorado. Co-owner Jon Davis, Christine Evig and Diana Simmons also will remain with the office.

"Longmont Title Holdings has been in business in Boulder County for the past 24 years and has an excellent reputation for quality and outstanding service," said Rand Zimmerman, Stewart Title Group President. "This excellent acquisition completes Stewart's coverage of metro Denver."

Located just 35 miles north of Denver, 15 miles northeast of Boulder and 31 miles south of Fort Collins, Longmont is within easy commuting distance of all three cities. The growing Front Range community of 85,000 also has easy access to prime Colorado ski resorts.

"Our key to success has always been our great service - that will remain the same," said Debbie Fitzgerald. "We also wanted to keep our title production in-house and continue to use our own title plant.

"What we were looking for was the financial backing, support and technology we know we will get with Stewart Title," said Fitzgerald. "They will help us provide the resources our customers are demanding, especially in technology. In addition, we like that Stewart Title is a family-run business, just like our company has been for all these years since my dad and I founded it in 1982."
