SoftPro Wins Stevie® Award in 5th Annual American Business Awards

SoftPro won a Stevie Award for Best Support Team in the 2007 American Business Awards last night. In addition to the win for Best Support Team, SoftPro was also named a finalist in categories for Best Customer Service Team and Best Product Development Team.
Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” (New York Post , April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by Larry Wilmore of THE DAILY SHOW with JON STEWART, videocast live on the Internet, and broadcast nationwide on radio.
Stevie Awards were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program. More than 2,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.
In winning the Stevie for Best Support Team, SoftPro beat out seven other finalists including John Hancock Signature Services of Boston, MA, Marriott Vacation Club International of Orlando, FL, Wolfram Research of Champaign, IL, and Ultimate Software of Weston, FL. Amy Riggsbee, Vice President of Support Services, was presented the Stevie before a packed ballroom of more than 700 business executives from across the nation.
In accepting the Stevie, Riggsbee said, “I have to thank the team of people I work with at SoftPro. They are such an incredible group that I would almost pay to work with them....that's just how great they are! I also have to thank our parent company, Fidelity National Information Services, for all their support as well."

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May.
