Deputy U.S. Trade Representative John K. Veroneau to Address ALTA® 2008 Annual Convention

ALTA is pleased to announce that Ambassador John K. Veroneau will address attendees during ALTA's 101st Annual Convention, Thursday, October 16, 2008 in Hawaii. Ambassador Veroneau's career has included managing trade relations with Europe and Eurasia, the Middle East, and the Americas as well as the World Trade Organization. As leader of the U.S. Trade Representatives functional offices, his duties included handling intellectual property, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, services, and market access. Ambassador Veroneau formerly served as a partner at the law firm of DLA Piper. He also served as General Counsel in the Office of the US Trade Representative from 2003-2005 under President Bush's administration. Ambassador Veroneau is well-known for his expertise in international trade on legal and foreign policy issues.
