August 16, 2011

Stewart Title Guaranty Co. announced that Melissa G. Eastman, senior vice president, national business development and manager of the Stewart National Title Services office in Dallas, has been selected as one of Real Estate Forum's 2011 Women of Influence.

The Women of Influence selection recognizes the accomplishments of notable women in the commercial real estate arena whose leadership, drive and innovation have helped to advance the industry.

Eastman has 25 years of experience in the real estate industry and joined Stewart in 1987. In addition to managing the Stewart National Title Services sales team in Dallas, she has handled international, domestic, multi-state, multi-site, portfolio and single-asset transactions. Under her leadership, she has maintained one of Stewart's most profitable offices in the midst of a recession. Eastman was able to drive business while continuing to contribute her time and leadership to the community and to the women she mentors.

"We are pleased that Melissa has been recognized by Real Estate Forum as one of this year's Women of Influence," said Paul Sands, executive vice president and director of Stewart National Title Services. "Her leadership and knowledge are invaluable to Stewart, and her successes have certainly made an important mark on the industry."
