Call for Presentations for 2012 Annual Convention Now Open

April 24, 2012

The Call for Presentations for the 2012 ALTA Annual Convention is now open. This is your opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise.

The convention will be held Oct. 17-20 at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo. The ALTA Annual Convention is always a highlight of the title industry calendar, and this year will be no different.

All sessions should be educational (not sales) in nature and are limited to a maximum of four speakers per session. At the Annual Convention, we are looking for high-level sessions that deal with the industry and business practices from a business management perspective as the attendees of the convention tend to be the owners or top level managers from our member companies.

If you are interested in proposing a session, please visit the ALTA website to learn more about the process. Follow the link to the online form, which contains a drop-down menu with relevant topics from which you can choose—or you can propose your own topic. Once you complete your submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation that your proposal has been sent. The site also clearly outlines the selection process and speaker benefits.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 1. ALTA leadership, volunteers, and staff will review proposals in early June, and you should learn the final status of your proposal by mid June.
