CEO of ALTA Member Company Appointed to Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority

Vincent Cassidy, the chief executive officer of ALTA member company Majesty Title Services, was appointed to the Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority by Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

Cassidy succeeds Donald Phillips, CEO of Phillips Development and Realty LLC, on the board. His term will end July 1, 2016. The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. Scott also reappointed Rebecca Smith to the group.

In 2006 Cassidy purchased a New York/New Jersey Title operation and relocated the business to Tampa, re-branding it under Majesty Title Services LLC. He is a licensed title agent in 10 states. In addition to serving as CEO of Majesty Title, Cassidy is a founding board member of Gulfshore Bank in Tampa. Previously, he was a senior vice president with JPMorgan Chase from 1981 to 2006.

Cassidy graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a bachelor's degree in Economics. He graduated with honors from the University of Virginia's Graduate School of Retail Banking.
