Thomas Title & Escrow Expands Presence in Dallas Market

Thomas Title & Escrow announced that Kevin Hays, executive vice president, and Daniel Reich, senior commercial escrow Office, have joined the company in Dallas. These hires are part of the continued growth of Thomas Title & Escrow’s presence in the fast-growing Texas market.

Hays, a Dallas native, has primary responsibility for the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s business development efforts in Texas. He also provides legal analysis as well as underwriting and curative support to the title and escrow department. Prior to joining Thomas Title & Escrow, Hays served as corporate counsel for Allegiance Title Company in Dallas. From 1994 until 2012, he owned and managed a real estate law practice in Birmingham, Ala., and was the CEO and general counsel of Gulf South Title Services, a title insurance and real estate settlement firm.

Also a lawyer, Reich has more than 25 years of experience closing real estate transactions. He assists in the management of title and escrow operations in Dallas. Reich received a juris doctor from the Western New England University, School of Law, a Master of Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.

“Kevin and Daniel are a perfect fit for the complex transactions that we routinely handle,” said Frank W. Busch III, president and CEO of Thomas Title & Escrow. “Both have pragmatic legal backgrounds, which will add significant value for our sophisticated client base.”
