MISMO Extends Comment Period for Version 3.3 of Residential Reference Model

December 10, 2013

The public comment period for Version 3.3 of the MISMO Residential Reference Model has been extended 30 days to Friday, Jan. 17, 2014.

The comment period was extended in light of the release of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s final rule for integrated mortgage disclosures rule on Nov. 20. This additional time is designed to allow contributors to adjust those enhancements, as needed, to reflect the final version of the rule.

Version 3.3 of the MISMO Reference Model includes new data points and structures related to a number of additional recent regulatory and reporting requirements including the HOEPA high-cost loans, GSEs Uniform Mortgage Servicing Dataset (UMSD), FHA automated underwriting and Ginnie Mae’s pool data delivery dataset.

Details on model enhancements can be found in the Version 3.3 release notes and version 3.3 of the MISMO Reference Model. Any comments regarding Version 3.3 should be emailed to info@mismo.org.
