Stewart Title Guaranty Names Wisconsin State Counsel

December 9, 2014

Stewart Title Guaranty Co. appointed Jonathan Sayas as Wisconsin state counsel. Sayas will provide underwriting guidance to Stewart’s independent title agencies and affiliated offices in the state. Additionally, he will monitor legislation, participate in the Wisconsin Land Title Association, provide webinars and training to Stewart agencies and offices, as well as issue pertinent bulletins on topics specific to the state.

For the past nine years, Sayas was a partner at a Wisconsin-based private law practice, serving as a general practitioner specializing in real estate, litigation and estate planning. He also worked as president and owner of a title company servicing both residential and commercial real estate. Sayas is active in a number of professional organizations including the Wisconsin Realtors Association and holds licenses with the State Bar of Wisconsin, Resident Title Insurance (Wisconsin) and The United States District Court (Wisconsin eastern district).
